Manuscripts

Would you like to submit your story to us? Here you'll find all the information we need for your submission. We look forward to receiving your manuscript! It's worth a try, even though we primarily work with agencies that connect us with authors.

The story

We accept individual volumes as well as complete series. However, your story, or the first volume of your series, should already be 80% written and contain at least 80,000 words at the end.

In the fantasy genre, the number of words you write should not exceed 130,000 per volume.

In the romance novel genre, your word count should not exceed 110,000.

We are relocating

Dark Romance, Dark Fantasy, Romance, Fantasy, Dystopia, Young Adult Thriller, Crime and Thriller.

Your email should contain:
- Exposé with a maximum of 5 pages, outlining the content, genre, target audience, and word count
- An author bio that shows who you are
- Sample reading with a maximum of 30 standard pages

Please send your entire application by email only to: manuskripte@vajona.de. Due to the high volume of applications, we ask for your understanding that we cannot send rejection letters. If you do not hear from us within eight weeks, please consider this a rejection.
