Summary:

Bloody ankles and a lifeless body at my feet confirm it: Penny is my downfall. I tried to leave her. I couldn't. I tried to take her life. I couldn't do that either. So we will slowly dance in the fire until nothing but ash and blood remain of me. I will only rise like a phoenix when she is gone.
