Summary:

Skylenna has left behind Chandelier City, the Emerald Lake Asylum, and the twisted social constraints imposed on women to escape with the patient everyone fears: Dessin. As they hide in the uncharted woods, Skylenna learns that the mystery of the infamous Patient Thirteen is far from solved. Each dangerous situation brings forth a new personality, and with it, a new man, deepening her attraction.
Only when they encounter unexpected allies and ancient forest colonies do they have a reason to voluntarily return to the asylum. But not as employees. This time, Skylenna is the twelfth patient of the Emerald Lake Asylum.

Will Dessin prove that she means as much to him as he means to her? Or is the master merely playing with his puppet?
